Join our private tour to discover the UNESCO-listed pyramids of Teotihuacan, the capital of the first Mesoamerican empire and one of the oldest cities in the Western Hemisphere; and the Historic Center of Mexico City, the largest one in Latin America that offers a huge variety of museums, galleries, and architectural gems, along with bustling nightlife and diverse gastronomic culture.

ITINERARY

In the morning, meet your private guide in Mexico City and head to the Teotihuacan Pyramids. For about three hours leisurely explore the archaeological zone seeing the impressive Teotihuacan Sun Pyramid and the Teotihuacan Moon Pyramid, walking down the famous Avenue of the Dead.

Also, visit the beautiful Temple of Quetzalpapalotl, and other sights of this ancient city. After the tour, move to the Historic Center of Mexico City to walk down its old streets. Once there, visit the vast Metropolitan Cathedral and learn about the Aztec past of the city in Templo Mayor.

Then, feel yourself a representative of the “Belle Epoque” in the imposing building of the Main Post Office and the impressive Palace of Fine Arts. Also, expect many other things: viewing platforms, colorful lanes, and current information about Mexico City,

After a full day of new experiences, return to our vehicle and relax on the way back to your accommodation.

DEPARTURE LOCATION AND TIME – The default departure times for this tour are 7 and 8 AM, but we can also adjust them per your request. Our guide will meet/pick you up at the requested time & might need to contact you by phone.

Complimentary pick-up/drop-off is included: please indicate the exact time and location for your pick-up during your booking (e.g. in the “Special Requirements” field). That is to say, we can pick you up from those parts of Mexico City: Polanco, Condesa, Roma, and Centro Historico. Other more remote locations might involve an extra fee.

TOUR DURATION AND CUSTOMIZATION – The standard duration of the tour counts from the moment of a meetup till the end of the tour. On the other hand, the tour is customizable which means we can adjust the time you spend in each destination. For example, if you want to visit an extra location (attraction/restaurant/market, etc.), you can do it on a complimentary basis if this visit (1) fits the default duration of the tour and  (2) doesn’t involve a major change of the route.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.

  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
